Click e Chic is a photography wedding boutique, founded by Andrea CIRIMINNA. he’s one of the best human I know so when he asked me if I wanted in, it was a no brainer!

Where’s the UX in here?

• Research and Interview You have to be patient, and a very good listener to work with people who are planning the biggest and most expensive day of their lives! I refined my catalogs each season by understanding wedding trends and aesthetic classic. I also spent time on a stand at the wedding fair in Assago, speaking to very overwhelmed couples and soothing their visit with flowers.

•  Wireframing and prototyping Not all couples are created equals! There’s the perfect one that after one meeting already knows what they - the bride - want, and then there are the eternal undecided, for whom I made a lot of mockups and corrections.

• Design system and method After a very stressful and confusing first round, I understood that the wider the choices, the more difficult it is for couples to make up their mind about what they want their wedding to look like. This led me to designing a very sophisticated catalogue: for each style, all printable elements were on display, but with a margin of customization left (like alternative fonts and colors), in order to let the couples feel empowered in their choices. It was a hit ;)

I am, and I’ve always been, passionate about illustrations, and with Click e Chic I had the possibility to combine it with another great love of mine: typography! I’ve been experimenting with styles and subject and even if, of course, when talking about weddings the most loved theme is botanical, sometimes I stumbled on the creative types: the horse riders with the heart-shaped horse heads or the fantasy lover with a thing for GOT ;)
